Wishlist Wednesday: Picture Perfect and Priced to Sell

Published July 19, 2012 by Amy Curry

I started writing about this house for the July 4th edition of Wishlist Wednesday, but due to the lack of WiFi on a West Texas excursion followed by a week in the Colorado mountains, I’ve been unable to share. But this three bedroom, two bath, 1,886 sq. ft. home at 4065 Beechwood Lane listed by Rogers Healy is definitely worth mentioning. A few weeks ago this house was listed at $395,000 but has now been reduced to $389,500!

I almost passed this listing by, but the orange door was calling my name. At first click, I thought, “This is cute.” But once I saw what all this home had to offer, I was ready to put my own house on the market and grab this one up.

The inside of this house was a total surprise. It has an open floor plan and a vaulted ceiling in the living room. Built in 1951, this recently remodeled home features brand new beautiful wood floors, a wood burning fireplace and plenty of natural light. It also includes a large 21×10 study.

I absolutely love the globe pendants lights over the dining area. You can pick up a set of three to jazz up your own place at West Elm for only $270…I checked because now I want some. And take a look at that snazzy room divider!

The kitchen is completely updated with modern cabinetry–with under-cabinet lighting–and a contrasting island.

If you’re not drooling already, this home also has a detached 2-car garage, a huge backyard and a beautiful gazebo, perfect for hosting a lazy Sunday brunch.
